Bear’s Oyster House has MELODIOUS FUNK tonight! If you havent heard of these guys they are Legit! They will be alternating with the Good Time Rounders on Mondays. Melodius is a improv funk jam band with lots of originals. 2-4-1 well shots tonight, like Kamakazies and such!

Techx20 Demo Event with SMUG and Shreveport .Net User Group

Techx20, SMUG (Shreveport Mac Users Group) and Shreveport .Net User Group will have a joint event to demo:
-the new Apple iPad as well discuss the forthcoming iPhone OS 4 update slated for iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, second and third-generation iPod touch, and iPad
-the MonoTouch platform with instructions on how to build rich, functional iPhone applications using familiar development technologies and patterns such as C#.
Also, Shreveport .Net User Group speaker Casey Watson will debut a new mobile application development product he and his partners have been working on. Everything is currently under NDA, and the June meeting will be the first time this technology is discussed in public!
