-the new Apple iPad as well discuss the forthcoming iPhone OS 4 update slated for iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, second and third-generation iPod touch, and iPad
-the MonoTouch platform with instructions on how to build rich, functional iPhone applications using familiar development technologies and patterns such as C#.

Also, Shreveport .Net User Group speaker Casey Watson will debut a new mobile application development product he and his partners have been working on. Everything is currently under NDA, and the June meeting will be the first time this technology is discussed in public!

“The Gates” Watch Party w/Cast Members In Attendance!

The producers of the new ABC Television series The Gates will host a “watch party” celebrating the second episode of the series’ airing on Sunday, June 27, 7:30 PM at The Robinson Film Center in downtown Shreveport. The party will include behind-the-scenes stories and appearances by cast members as well as members of the creative team behind the series. Guests will be entered into a raffle drawing for an “extra” role in an upcoming episode of The Gates and other prizes. For lots more info, visit the link below!

Shreveport Little Theatre box office opens June 7 for Broadway Belters: A Cabaret of Broadway Songs. This event is a fundraiser for the Phoenix Project x2 to complete the interior construction of the backstage of the theatre, which was completely destroyed by fire in 2008.

Performances are scheduled for June 25, 26 at 8 p.m. and June 27 at 2 p.m. at Marjorie Lyons Playhouse on the Centenary College campus.
